Pumpkin Carving Workshop

Come carve a pumpkin for a new Halloween decoration or gift this year!  Participants start with a pumpkin created on a pottery wheel by Master Potter, Jacob Grant.  The clay is in a leather hard (non-plastic, wet state). Participants use knives and other carving tools to pierce in and cut the pumpkin (like a jack-o-lantern). When you open it up, you find a surprise inside:).  It is actually easier to do than cutting a real pumpkin.

We will keep the piece at the studio, do finish work, glazing, and firing, and you pick it up at a later date.  It will look similar in color to the pumpkin above.

For the safety of the pieces, we do not rush the process, but the pieces will be finished in time to display for Halloween.
